Successfully completed the MSc (Weapons Effects on Structures). Over 20 years developing blast and ballistic solutions; 8 years practical experience in the Royal Engineers including operational tours of the Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan with the responsibility of designing and overseeing the installation of physical protective measures.
Experience includes 12 years spent conducting research and developing Explosion and Ballistic Protection (EBP) measures as part of the Home Office and central government and producing guidance to disseminate this research, and providing practical advice on its implementation.
Recent experience includes ballistic testing of a range of armour products and protective measures for marine and airport environments and development of a bullet resistant product test scheme for the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) at the Building Research Establishment (BRE).
